Aaron leads IDEO.org’s storytelling, editorial strategy, and communications all with the aim of pushing the social sector forward through human-centered design. With over a decade of experience as a writer, editor, journalist, and video maker, Aaron is passionate about figuring out which stories count, the best ways to tell them, and how to make them stick.

Aaron is currently a columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle, was Deputy Editor at Dwell Magazine, and got his start as a reporter and researcher for Pulitzer Prize winner William Safire’s “On Language” column in the New York Times Magazine. For kicks, he continues to cover architecture, fashion, and design, and his work has appeared in Newsweek, the New York Times, the New York Times Magazine, Details, Fast Company, National Geographic, Sports Illustrated, and others. He went to Amherst College and thinks that everyone should give Robert Frost another shot. He really knew what he was doing.
