Bonnie Chan

From September 2009 to January 2010, Bonnie was a Volunteer Consultant and independent contractor with TechnoServe in support of the Cocoa Livelihoods Program in Côte d’Ivoire. Prior to her transition to international development, Bonnie was Vice President and Senior Securities Analyst for Dreman Value Management, where she covered the financial services sector and managed accounts with over $100 million in assets. Prior to that, Bonnie was an Equity Research Analyst at Capital Management Associates, where she covered the financial, healthcare, and consumer sectors. Bonnie holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of New Hampshire. Bonnie is a CFA Charterholder.

    After seven years working in the financial-sector, I joined TechnoServe in C?te d’Ivoire in September 2009 as a short-term volunteer consultant and later as an independent contractor, both positions in support of the Cocoa Livelihoods Program (CLP). My goal was to develop a system to provide farm inputs on credit to small cocoa farmers.
