Erik Wallsten, co-founder and managing partner of Adobe Capital,has extensive experience in the Mexican venture capital, private equity and real estate sectors. Among other investments, Erik was involved in the development of the first sustainable housing project in Mexico City and acted as a Principal at the NAFTA Fund, a local private equity fund focused on cross-border investments involving high-growth SGBs. Erik was also part of the investment team in charge of the North American Environmental Fund, Mexico’s first environmentally-focused venture capital fund. Erik received an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering with Honors from Universidad Iberoamericana.

Santiago Alvarez, investment manager at Adobe Capital,has significant experience working with social enterprises in South Asia and Southern Africa in particular for organizations promoting financial inclusion at the bottom-of-the-pyramid. He has more than 3 years of experience in management consulting services in Colombia and has co-founded two organizations; Prosperitas, a microfinance institution in Colombia and Equilibrium Partnership, a UK based consulting firm providing services to organizations looking to grow multiple bottom line returns. Santiago is an Investors Circle Fellow and a Skoll Centre Associate Fellow. He holds an MBA from Oxford University a Masters in Poverty Reduction and Development Management from Birmingham University in the UK and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia.
