Gwen joined The Aspen Institute in June 2009 and currently works on the USAID-funded IDEA initiative promoting the centrality of reproductive health to development overall. She lived for six months in Dakar, Senegal in 2007. Before joining the Aspen Institute, Gwen worked for Teach For America's Recruitment Team, conducting outreach to high-achieving undergraduates through TFA’s unique selection model. She earned a BA in English Literature from Trinity College in Hartford, CT, with minors in French and Women, Gender & Sexuality.
