Elena Bridgers
Pesinet

Elena Bridgers, a project manager at Pesinet, graduated from Stanford University in 2011 with a degree in human biology and a concentration in international women’s health. She is passionate about using market forces and technology to address social issues globally, especially those that pertain to women. After graduating, she carried out a research study for one of India’s largest microfinance institutions, BASIX. In June 2012, she joined Pesinet in order to help the association build strategic partnerships with microfinance institutions in West Africa. The following November she took a position as lead project manager for the association in Burkina Faso, where she worked alongside Executive Director Anne Roos-Weil to launch the NGO’s first pilot outside of Mali. Elena currently lives in Paris, where she continues her work with Pesinet.
