Michelle is research manager at InterMedia and is experienced in quantitative research, data analysis, project evaluation, and project management. Her areas of focus include financial inclusion, social entrepreneurship, and evaluation. She has worked on quantitative and qualitative research projects for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, USAID, AusAid, GSMA and more.

Previously, she worked in community development for an international nonprofit organization, establishing the organization’s new base of operations in India. Michelle also conducted research on international economics for a public policy think tank in Washington, D.C. She holds a master’s degree from Vanderbilt University in Economic Development, with a concentration in microeconomic factors of development including education, access to financial services and private sector development.

Will provides insight-driven, applied research to help organizations committed to supporting transparency, accountability and human rights maximize the impact of their media for development interventions. He has managed a number of mixed-method impact and evaluation studies with a focus on vulnerable populations from fragile states and conflict or post-conflict zones. Experienced in managing all stages of the research and evaluation cycle, Will has designed and executed research studies drawing on qualitative, quantitative and mixed methodologies.

Prior to joining InterMedia, Will was with the International Graduate Insight Group (i-graduate), where he managed a team of researchers and led the development, execution and delivery of international research projects. Before that, Will worked at Goldsmiths, University of London, designing and implementing aspects of the university’s market research strategy. He also headed-up the London office of an international human rights organization focused on delivering access to information capacity-building programs globally.

Will has a first-class degree in Social Anthropology and Nepali from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), and spent a year living and conducting field research in the Himalayas, as part of his studies.
