Rachel Neill
Results for Development Institute

Rachel Neill is a senior program associate for the Results for Development Institute (R4D), where she works on the Center for Health Market Innovations. In this role, Rachel manages the day-to-day operations of a six-member regional partner network and supports the CHMI Learning Exchange, a peer-learning fund for health innovators. Prior to joining R4D, Rachel was a development associate at the Fund for Global Human Rights, a public human rights foundation that provides funding to local, front-line human rights organizations in 18 countries around the world. Rachel’s past positions include an internship at USAID’s Bureau for Africa, teaching international economics in Burkina Faso, developing a business plan for a new children’s center in Tanzania, and writing curriculum for a Somalia teaching module at UC-Berkley. She earned a master’s degree in African studies at Stanford University, where she focused on health care service delivery in fragile states and HIV/AIDS policy in East Africa, and a bachelor’s in African studies and international affairs at the University of Georgia, where she studied abroad in Ghana and Tanzania.
