Carlued Leon is the global research manager at MANAUSConsulting,a consulting company that provides evaluation and strategy services in the areas of corporate social responsibility and international development.Leonis responsible for designing, implementing, andoverseeingqualitative and quantitative evaluations worldwide. She is currently the leadevaluator of three gender-developmentprograms in Nepal, Vietnam, and ElSalvador. She recently returned from Brazil where she designed a framework toassess an earlychildhood education program funded by the Inter-AmericanDevelopment Bank.

She has presented articles ininternational forums like the Better Work Conference of the InternationalFinanceCorporation (World Bank) and publishedin journals like theAmericas Quarterly.Before joining MANAUS Consulting, Carlued worked providingresearch support to the microfinance institution ACCION San Diegoand served asa data analysis consultant for Grameen Foundation.Leonholds an M.P.I.A. in Public Policy & Development Economics from the University of California, San Diego and a B.A. in International Studies from the Universidad Central de Venezuela.
