Guest Blogger and TED 2009 Fellow Joy Sun is currently pursuing her MBA at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Previously, Joy served as the director of operations at the Clinton Foundation’s HIV/AIDS Initiative, where she was responsible for launching and managing public health programs throughout southern Africa, and helping to scale the organization from a start up into a global institution.

She lived in Lesotho, South Africa and Zambia from 2005-08. She has also worked for the U.N. Division for the Advancement of Women, as well as private foundations that focus on education and health in the U.S.
