Lina Sonne leads research on inclusive innovation and entrepreneurship at Okapi,a research and consulting group focused on institutional design with offices in Chennai and Mumbai. She previously co-led research at social investment and researchconsultancy Intellecap, in Mumbai. Before that, Lina was Assistant Professor, Inclusive Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the newly started Azim Premji University, Bangalore, where she helped set up an MA Development. She has a PhD in Economics and Policy Studies of Technical Change from UNU-MERIT and Maastricht University, and an MSc Business Economics from City University, London. Pre-academia, Lina worked in the investment team at NESTA, London.

Michelle Abraham, is the co-founder of Unconvention at Villgro.As part of the founding team of Villgro’s Unconvention initiative, Michelle has helped it grow into one of the premier innovation & social entrepreneurship platforms in India. She has also spearheaded Wantrapreneur – a social business plan competition to unearth startup & early growth social businesses. Prior to Villgro, she worked with AMS Consulting Pvt. Ltd where she evaluated & monitored the Rural Development Programmes of 10 districts of Uttar Pradesh. She has also worked with an international funding agency – Aide et Action, where she was responsible for establishment of vocational education centers in North India. She is a postgraduate in Forestry Management from IIFM, Bhopal.
