Do you want to spend your summer changing the way the world tackles poverty? Do you have what it takes to join the Acumen Fund team?

Acumen Fund is seeking high-impact individuals to fill the following roles in our global offices:

Our Portfolio Summer Associates will help conduct research in portfolios and metrics as well as perform due diligence and support high-potential investments. We are looking for individuals with sharp business skills and experience in researching and analyzing organizations. Our Communications Associate will assist the Communications team at a critical moment for Acumen Fund and the idea of patient capital. The Associate will help share stories, insights and opportunities for engagement with a variety of audiences, including our Partner community, and the press and our growing online networks, and help Acumen Fund gear up to celebrate its 10th anniversary this Fall.

Applications for New York-based positions will be accepted until 5 PM EST on Feb. 4, 2011. If your school subscribes to The MBA-Nonprofit Connection’s summer jobs program, please apply through that channel (a list of participating schools can be found here.) If your school is not a member of the MNC, please send a cover letter and resume to the email address listed in the job description. For positions in Kenya, India, or Pakistan, please follow the instructions in the appropriate job description. Applicants may apply for only one position among all roles listed above.
