Teaching Base of the Pyramid at a Business School
Student demand for more class sessions and full courses on BoP enterprise, inclusive business, and social impact is a growing trend across universities and colleges. Teaching at the intersection of business development and poverty alleviation, however, requires enabling students to understand the opportunities and challenges in aligning growth, innovation and impact in a unique market context.
In this webinar, London will share his experiences in incorporating BoP content into one or more sessions within an existing class, or into an entire semester-long course. Leveraging material from his latest book, The Base of the Pyramid Promise, as well as topic-appropriate case studies, London will offer techniques, strategies, and lessons learned to enhance effectiveness in teaching this important and demanding topic.
