User Acquisition Manager

The growth team at InVenture is responsible for growing our user base through online and offline channels as well as building brand awareness in the countries we work in. We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, creative and tactical to manage and drive marketing initiatives. This role will report to the Head of Growth and work closely with our product and data teams. You will be tasked with demand generation, traffic growth, and conversion optimization using online channels (i.e. facebook, twitter, adwords) and offline channels (i.e. radio, newspaper, flyers). You will use comprehensive analytics to support the team’s strategy and execution of user growth.



  • Deeply understand InVenture’s target market and form creative strategies to reach our target audience with relevant messaging (note: this is NOT your typical growth role – it’s an opportunity to pioneer growth tactics in relatively untapped global markets)

  • Work with management to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy from customer acquisition through customer retention

  • Evaluate and launch experimental acquisition channels

  • Manage paid user acquisition campaigns on various online and offline platforms

  • Develop viral marketing campaigns

  • Conduct experiments within a rigorous A/B testing framework

  • Analyze weekly and monthly performance metrics in Google Analytics, MixPanel, etc, making recommendations and presenting findings to management


  • You have 2-5 years of user acquisition experience (digital advertising, content marketing, performance marketing, growth hacking, analytics, etc.), preferably in consumer apps

  • You read blogs about acquisition marketing for fun (including keeping up on the latest details of marketing best practices)

  • You are comfortable with Excel and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and MixPanel and have the ability to quickly pick up new technology

  • You have excellent writing/communication skills

  • You are passionate about testing, data and metrics

  • You are naturally curious with a tendency to think outside the box

  • You are a dynamic team-player with strong organizational and time-management skills

  • You are detail-oriented, analytical, and great at solving unstructured problems

  • You have experience working directly with engineering teams

  • You are comfortable in a fluid start-up environment and excited to bring an energetic, fun and creative approach to your work


  • Experience in fintech and/or emerging markets

  • Experience working with big datasets / SQL

  • Design skills, Photoshop, Illustrator
