Will Nigerians embrace mobile money in 2014 ?

More than three years after the introduction of the mobile money system in the country by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), it appears that all is still not well with the concept, the initial euphoria notwithstanding.

On daily basis, strong indications have continued to emerge that majority of Nigerians are not ready to embrace the innovation.

Simply put, mobile money is a service that allows people transfer money using a mobile phone as it aims to create a cashless society and reduce the cost and dangers associated with traditional banking transactions.
