Kristin Babbie is a senior project administrator on the Grants Management team at the William Davidson Institute. Before joining WDI in 2015, Kristin was a research analyst at an innovation accelerator where she conducted market research and provided business development support for social enterprises. As a graduate research assistant, Kristin was involved with developing a life skills program in Kenya and conducted social science research related to food security and sustainable agriculture in Italy and Trinidad & Tobago. Additionally, she fulfilled her undergraduate field experience requirement at Thailand’s Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives. She earned a master’s of science dual-title degree in rural sociology/international agriculture & development from the Pennsylvania State University. She also has a bachelor’s degree in social relations & policy from James Madison College at Michigan State University.
