Impact-Linked Fund for Education (ILF for Education) provides Impact-Linked Finance to companies that improve education outcomes for children and youth in developing countries and increase opportunities for employment and income generation. The funding window is jointly funded by Jacobs Foundation and the Swiss Agency for Development & Cooperation (SDC) and is hosted by the Impact-Linked Finance Fund.1 After a successful pilot that launched in 2021, financing 12 high-impact organizations aimed at improving learning outcomes, the Fund wants to scale its activities and ultimately reach millions of underserved children and youth.
Roots of Impact, one of the transaction managers for the Fund, is looking for impact organizations active in Vocational Skills Development (VSD) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sectors in Asia to support them with Social Impact Incentives (SIINC) and/or Impact-Linked Loans (ILL).
In addition to financial rewards, selected impact enterprises will receive tailored technical assistance (TA) in the form of training and support for impact measurement and management.
