As African countries’ economies continue to grow, it is now more important than ever to build more reliable and resilient energy systems to support this growth.
The Energy Africa Conference connects organizations and firms across the globe to the African power sector in line with the Power Africa Initiative. Under the theme, Delivering Clean Solutions to Africa’s Energy Challenges, this not-for-profit, cost-recovery endeavor, provides a unique opportunity for high level multi-disciplinary partners from national governments, private industry, civil society, and academia to share best practices and collaborate on advancing resilient energy systems to meet Africa’s energy demand.
We dialog, collaborate and invest in the work needed to deploy energy and power systems in Africa that support a clean environment by leveraging the synergy between natural gas and renewable energy sources.
We hope this conference inspires you to think bigger and more broadly about energy related opportunities, to expand your horizons, to grow your businesses and to help make the world a better place.

Building on our last conversation, we will continue to share lessons learned and insights gained as our global community moves forward with our respective work in this area. While we are still finalizing the agenda, we have invited Evelyn Stark of MetLife to share some of her underlying hypotheses driving MetLife Foundation’s investments in financial health measurement. While we have extended a couple other invitations, if you feel you have something to share please feel free to let me know. Interested observers and passionate practitioners alike are welcome to listen in or actively participate. As usual, we will save some time for discussion as part of our time together. If you have questions, would like to share your work and insights, or wish to be removed from this distribution list, please feel free to reach out to Sonja Kelly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
