46th Midi – Future Now: Three Hot Topics That Will Impact Inclusive Finance in Africa: Digitalisation, Client Centricity and SMEs

2019 is an important year for ADA as they celebrate their 25th anniversary and organize the fourth edition of the SAM, African Microfinance Week, in October in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, which will focus on the real impact of inclusive finance.

Thus this year’s 46th Midi de la Microfinance et de l’inclusion financière will be linked with these two important events. Discussions and debates will involve issues of how ADA and the inclusive finance sector could improve the positive impact on the lives of the end clients.

The next 25 years of ADA start today. This Midi will be a unique opportunity to discuss topics that will play a key role to impact the inclusive finance sector and the sustainable development in the future.

Three international experts will present three different and essential topics discussed in the sector:

    • Gerhard Coetzee, the client centricity expert at CGAP, will present how the inclusive finance works in terms of the added value on the end clients.
    • Madji Sock, Founder and President of the Women’s Investment Club Senegal, will focus on the importance of funding the small entrepreneurs.
    • Arnaud de Lavalette, digital finance expert at ADA, will present the importance of the digitalisation of Africa.

The debate will be moderated by Myka Reinsch, an Inclusive finance consultant which is working together with ADA on the preparation of the sessions of the next SAM. Sachin S Vankalas, Director of Operations and Sustainability at LuxFLAG will conclude this debate.

Register now to take part in this meaningful discussion as well, and find out which topic will be crucial for the future of the development of the financial inclusion in the next years and will contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
