Business and Society 2021: Overcoming Systemic Barriers to Entrepreneurship

With less than 3% of venture capital funding going to Black and Latinx founders over the past five years, increasing capital accessibility for minority entrepreneurs is critical to the success and innovativeness of global business. Join moderator Rashmi Menon, entrepreneurship lecturer at Michigan Ross, for a panel discussion with entrepreneurs and venture capitalists about how they are working to expand equity in this space. Learn about the barriers to entrepreneurship for minorities, and about how operators and financiers can ensure that sufficient funding is accessible to businesses in these communities.
