    Business and Society 2021: Overcoming Systemic Barriers to Entrepreneurship

    With less than 3% of venture capital funding going to Black and Latinx founders over the past five years, increasing capital accessibility for minority entrepreneurs is critical to the success and innovativeness of global business. Join moderator Rashmi Menon, entrepreneurship lecturer at Michigan Ross, for a panel discussion with entrepreneurs and venture capitalists about how they are working to expand equity in this space. Learn about the barriers to entrepreneurship for minorities, and about how operators and financiers can ensure that sufficient funding is accessible to businesses in these communities.

    The Future of Work and COVID-19 Symposium

    Join the Rutgers Institute for Corporate Social Innovation (RICSI) on March 26th from 9 to 11:30 a.m for an interactive brainstorm based on their recent report: Future of Work After COVID-19. Keynote remarks will be provided by Kathy Calvin, former President and Chief Executive Office of the United Nations Foundation. Students from the RICSI Student Advisory Board will also review key findings from the report and facilitate small group brainstorming sessions. Please see an agenda of the event below:
