Increasing Impact Data Capacity for Social Entrepreneurs: Session Three: Data Management

Welcome to the Sopact and Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship Summer Data webinar series.

Why is having data so crucial to social enterprises?

    1) Data helps you learn more about your stakeholders.
    2) It improves resource allocation and program decision-making.
    3) You may need it for reporting and forecasting.
    4) Understand what is essential to your customers on a deeper level.
    5) It helps serve your customers better, increasing revenue and delivering better experiences.

The webinars will take a step-by-step approach to learn how to map the data to already prioritized outcomes, collect or connect data sources, and get insight that is material to the enterprises.

The participants will have three hands-on sessions.

    Session 3: Data management
This session will discuss building a well-designed dashboard to give life to otherwise complex and heavy quantitative data.

Tell the compelling story behind the results.
We will also bring real examples of live dashboards and reports to learn how to frame the story according to your audience.

Sign up for all three webinars to get the best out of the data webinar series. In addition, please have an Impact Strategy and outcomes identified. Thank you.

International Renewable Energy Storage and Systems Conference 2022

Energy storage systems are the key to the successful energy transition to full renewable energy supply and are more relevant today than ever before. They address numerous challenges of the energy transition at once:  stabilise the electricity grids, support the shutdown of power plants, make regionally generated electricity available locally and compensate for fluctuations in renewable energy generation. For more than 15 years now, EUROSOLAR has dedicated the annual International Conference on Renewable Energy Storage (IRES) to this important topic. The conference, which has been organised in partnership with Messe Düsseldorf since 2015, will focus on the current state of research and the social, political and legal framework conditions of energy storage.

The event will take place at Messe Düsseldorf from 20 to 22 September 2022, within its exhibitions on decarbonised industries. Programme, time and venue changes are at the discretion of the organisers and may be made at short notice, if permitted by the event management.

In up to four both plenary and parallel sessions of lectures, experts from science, practice, politics and society will focus on the current state of knowledge about energy storage.

In recent years, more than 4,000 visitors have attended Energy Storage Europe, the predecessor of Messe Düsseldorf’s decarbXpo and IRES, each year. In plenary sessions, topic-specific lecture series and discussion rounds, around 150 lectures will again be presented, including a large poster exhibition. At the same time, the P2X Conference will take place at the Messe Düsseldorf, bringing together experts and players in the field of power-to-X technologies. This ensures a good exchange between science and practice.

You have submitted an abstract for the conference? Go to Speaker Information for the current status of the program.

Financial Institutions – Outcomes Management Session – Cerise SDG Lab/LabODD

In collaboration with the e-MFP Investors Action Group and SPTF. Second Session of the Outcomes Management Webinar Series with Investors and Financial Institutions – September 2022

Objective: discuss the output of the Investors Session (Sept. 13, 2022), and get the experience of financial institutions on the same topics: what outcome data they need, what outcome data they manage to collect, what are the bottlenecks, which support/TA to improve data collection and analysis, which ideal set of standards outcomes indicators should be pushed for decision-making and reporting?

This webinar will contribute to moving towards a standard questionnaire to collect outcomes data that would support financial institutions’ strategic and operational decision-making and ease the reporting to the various investors. Discussions will help to prepare standards indicators to be collected on SPI online, to produce a Sustainability/Outcomes report, aligned with the SDG. Whether you are an investor, a financial institution member, or another industry professional, you can participate! Please register below.
