The Race to Net Zero: A Climate Pioneer’s Roadmap

We’re in a race against time to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050 in order to stabilize the climate.

Join us on Sept. 29th, as Generation Investment Management’s David Blood and ImpactAssets’ Margret Trilli discuss Just Climate’s plan for addressing the net zero challenge at scale while setting a new standard for climate-led investing.

    The Roadmap

When David Blood, Al Gore and five other partners founded Generation Investment Management in 2004, sustainable investing was in its infancy. Nineteen years later, sustainable investing is considered mainstream. Yet, the climate crisis has worsened, despite significant amounts of money allocated to climate investing.

Against this backdrop, Generation Investment Management created a new business, Just Climate, with a mission to limit the global temperature rise to 1.5°C by catalyzing and scaling capital towards the most impactful climate solutions.

This timely conversation brings together vision, solution and activation for impact investors urgently seeking to understand the path to net zero. David and Margret will discuss:

    – Climate investing, including recent developments such as The Inflation Reduction Act.
    – Tackling investment and climate mitigation at scale.
    – Aligning climate investment portfolios to net zero goals.

We look forward to having you join us for this important conversation.

Time: 8am Pacific Time/11am Eastern Time
    Duration: 1 hour

WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Individual impact investors and philanthropists, family offices, foundations and financial advisors seeking to move capital towards high-impact climate change solutions.

    Time: 11:00 AM ET
