The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Namibia, through the Biodiversity Finance Initiative (BIOFIN), is facilitating the development of a National Biodiversity Finance Plan. This plan seeks to identify and implement innovative finance solutions to support biodiversity conservation and management across Namibia sustainably.

In a world facing unprecedented environmental challenges, financing nature is not just necessary but a strategic investment in our future. The dialogue will gather leaders from government, civil society, finance, and conservation sectors to exchange perspectives and inform the roadmap towards a greener, more sustainable Namibia.

This high-level stakeholder engagement will feature a panel discussion that explores:

• Opportunities and gaps in biodiversity financing
• Integrating biodiversity into national development and budgeting
• The role of policy, data, and partnerships in resource mobilization
• Leveraging private and public sector collaboration to finance nature
