Blume Ventures (www.blume.vc) is one of India’s leading early-stage Venture Capital firms. We invest quite early on in a startup’s journey and walk alongside them as they grow from “Unknowns to Unicorns”. Our investment approach is a balance between data-driven, research-backed decisions based on industry trends, and drawing from our collective years of experience as investors, operators, ex-entrepreneurs and domain experts. We believe in the power of technology, and invest in companies that have the potential to solve big problems at scale in sectors such as deeptech, fintech, healthcare, edtech, mobility, consumer and lifestyle, among others. Some of our marquee investments include Turtle Mint Spinny, Grey Orange Robotics, Purplle, Battery Smart, HealthifyMe, Classplus, Ultrahuman, Pixxel, and CarbonClean.
We’re launching our fifth fund, our biggest ever, to back the next wave of revolutionary founders and ventures. We are seeing bigger dreams, and bigger ambitions in these new founders, in larger numbers than ever before. They are targeting bigger problems and bigger opportunities, inspired and motivated by the first wave of success stories that are unfolding more rapidly now out of the Indian startup ecosystem.
We wholeheartedly believe that the Venture Capital business is – first and foremost – a People’s business. We choose to invest in our people with equal focus, knowing that an exceptional team is critical to our success.
The Role
We’re looking for a young, hardworking digital marketer who’s keen to make an impact in the venture capital ecosystem. You’ll work with Blume’s marketing leadership to grow our content-first IPs—podcasts, newsletters, events, and playbooks—that have made Blume a recognized voice in the Indian startup ecosystem.
This will be a full time WFO role based out of Delhi NCR – we’d like you to come work with us from our office space in Noida. There will be some travel required to our other office locations in Mumbai and Bengaluru a few times in the year.
Primary KRAs:
- Social media growth: Own and grow Blume’s presence across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, and YouTube. Ensure high-quality posts, consistent cadence, and channel growth. This includes managing YouTube Shorts and other video formats to maximize reach and engagement.
- Content growth: Drive content distribution through the website, newsletters, and other channels. Post and promote new content, resurface relevant older pieces around emerging themes, and ensure Blume’s best thinking gets the visibility it deserves.
- Website traffic growth: Drive organic and referral traffic to Blume’s website through content, SEO, and distribution strategies.
- Events: Support the planning and execution of select events in collaboration with the community team
- Portfolio amplification: Help amplify portfolio company milestones, announcements, and stories through Blume’s digital handles—ensuring our founders get visibility across our ecosystem.
Key responsibilities:
- Project management: Lead the planning and execution of IPs, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop project plans, establish priorities, allocate resources, and resolve blockers.
- Design and creation: Create and manage marketing assets—brand collaterals, event materials, website updates, social media creatives, and promotional materials. This means rolling up your sleeves on Canva/Figma and coordinating with external designers/agencies to ensure output aligned with Blume’s brand guidelines.
- Content creation and management: Create content for Blume’s digital channels—social posts, newsletter editions, video descriptions, and more. Use your content sensibilities to identify podcast topics, recommend guests for panels, and surface themes relevant to early-stage founders.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the investment team, community team, and platform team to source insights, stories, and updates that can be turned into compelling content.
- Measurement and reporting: Own the tracking and reporting of key metrics across Blume’s online and offline IPs—website analytics, social media share-of-voice, podcast stats, and newsletter performance.
In a typical week, you’ll draft and schedule posts across LinkedIn, X, and Instagram, coordinate with designers on upcoming creatives, publish content to the website and newsletter, track performance metrics, and collaborate with the investment and community teams on stories worth telling.
Monday could start with scheduling the week’s social posts and checking in on what’s trending in the startup ecosystem. By midweek, you’re coordinating with the investment team on a portfolio announcement, briefing a designer on event creatives, and drafting the next newsletter. Thursday could have you on a call planning changes to our website architecture and how to implement a portfolio jobs portal, while Friday wraps with a quick metrics review and resurfacing an older blog post that’s suddenly relevant again.
No two weeks look the same — but the rhythm of content, collaboration, and creativity stays constant. Some weeks will include event support or a portfolio milestone to amplify. It’s a mix of creative work, coordination, and execution — with enough variety to keep things interesting.
Beyond the project management skills, to be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of content marketing, how social media works, how new media technologies are shaping media, and how Blume can leverage them to drive our marketing efforts.
