The Role

Desiderata is seeking to recruit Associates preferably with experience in private sector led development and a track record of successful delivery of international development assignments. Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Research and Implementation
Create product notes, conduct primary and secondary research and analysis of data to support the creation of industry benchmarks, reports and tools
Provide ongoing support to the team for project/program implementation
Business Development
Identify and track project opportunities for business expansion by researching commercial databases
Prepare proposals, concept notes and implementation plans for new projects
Participate in knowledge management and experts’ database development
Strategy and Marketing Support
Contribute to overall strategic and operational development of the company
Proactively contribute to marketing efforts
Represent the company in various forums and conferences
Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates should have:
Master’s degree in economics, finance, international development, business management or other similar qualification with 2 years of relevant work experience
Strong analytical, research and quantitative skills
Keen interest and passion in international development work
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Willingness to take initiatives and lead them to closure
Proactive approach and ability to work with minimum supervision
Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Prior experience of writing reports, creating client presentations and publishing research papers is preferred
Willingness to travel
