Kiva’s Review and Translation Program leverages the power of 400+ volunteers to edit, translate, and review loan descriptions that come in from the field before they are published on the Kiva website. Using a self-assignment platform created and maintained by Kiva, these global volunteers handle upwards of 14,000 loan descriptions every month. Supporting the volunteers, maintaining Kiva’s loan review guidelines, and continuing to scale the program as Kiva grows are the challenges of the Review and Translation Program staff. Now is an exciting time to join the program, as we recently released interactive new tools to better support our volunteers.

The Candidate

You’re detail-oriented and work well on your own, but you’re at home in a collaborative team. You also have an eye for making operational processes run efficiently. This candidate will report to the Review and Translation Program’s Senior Manager and manage at least one Kiva intern.
