Position Description

The Associate – Strategy is responsible for conceptualizing and executing initiatives aligned with Ennovent’s overall strategic aims, with a focus on Ennovent’s Innovation Fund and European sales. The Associate is also responsible for providing strategic inputs and support to projects across the organisation as required.

Under the guidance and supervision of the Managing Director, the specific responsibilities related to the Associate include, but are not limited to:

●       Develop, further design and manage the day-to-day operations of the Ennovent Innovation Fund.
●       Focus on sales and client relationship management in Europe implemented through Ennovent’s country offices in developing countries.
●       Manage strategic projects and initiatives as a member of the Strategy Unit, from conceptualization to execution.
●       Support design and implementation of Ennovent’s new organisation systems at all levels.
●       Support the improvement and development of offerings within Ennovent’s Innovation Solution framework.
●       Support the conceptualisation and implementation of strategy framework including KPIs and others mechanisms to ensure guidance of the global group.
●       Support the development and refinement of Ennovent’s business model.
●       Provide strategic guidance for the design and implementation of client projects at the country level.
●       Manage, mentor and build the capacity of junior team members in alignment with Ennovent’s core values.
●       Contribute to the overall strategic and operational development of Ennovent.


The Associate is a highly motivated and outgoing individual with exposure to project management and business development with a proven track record of success in strategic initiatives and planning.

The Associate should possess:

●       An advanced degree in business or management, or other relevant background.
●       1- 3+ years of professional experience in a relevant background.
●       Experience with project management of complex and evolving initiatives.
●       Some exposure to business development, relationship management and proposal writing.
●       A clear track record of success with relationship cultivation.
●       Exceptional written and verbal communications in English, German and Spanish, and preferably with competent abilities in French.
●       A diligent, detail-oriented and in-depth approach to work and delivering results.
●       An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work with independence, ambiguity and flexibility to ensure targets and outcomes are reached.
●       An extroverted personality that enables high-impact networking skills and instincts.
●       A clear motivation to work in a start-up culture focused on having a positive impact at the bottom of the pyramid in India.
●       A proven ability to meet stated targets.
●       Commitment to Ennovent’s overall mission and core values.
