Acceso’s current social enterprises in Colombia, El Salvador, and Haiti have generated +$60M for +15,000 smallholder farmers and farm workers. Acceso has bold ambitions for scaling its social impact across the region including to Mexico and Central America.

In 2020, Acceso acquired leading digital field agent Extensio (, based in Mexico. Acting as a digital field agent, Extensio employs mobile communication to provide farmers and actors in agricultural value chains with timely information for decision-making: weather and pest forecast and management, production risk mapping, best agricultural practices, and market information. Extensio’s services have reached 24,000 farmers in Mexico, Colombia, El Salvador, Ecuador, and Haiti.
