Key responsibilities include:
1. Assist with accounting and financial management
-Prepare invoices and financial statements
-Code and file financial material according to established file management procedures
-Prepare accurate bank reconciliations and deposits
-Assist with financial reports as required (Value for Women internal, and for projects)
2. Support to project teams on budget management
-Maintain updated project budgets and share with project leads and management regularly
-Adjust coding and reporting as per each project guideline, as needed
3. Provide administrative support, including:
-Make travel, meeting and other arrangements for staff
-Lead on company documentation management (filing, coding, making accessible to team on various topics related to the content of our work), according to established procedures
-Update and manage organization\’s databases
-Design and manage organizational CRM platform
-Lead on project management systems maintenance and support (Zoho)
-Draft minutes of meetings where needed
-Coordination of volunteers
4. Active participation in internal organizational meetings, activities and processes (ongoing). This will include efficient planning and delivery on agreed upon monthly work plans each week, as well as weekly and monthly regular calls with entire global team
5. Evaluation, learning and communications
-Support organisational monitoring, learning and evaluation efforts (internal and on projects for partner organizations)
-Social media and other VFW brand visibility and dissemination of research products, as well as engagement with Value for Women partners
6. Further support to project implementation can be included, as per interest in professional development and mutual goals. This can include, but is not limited to:
-Research support on gender and social inclusion projects
-Writing, editing, reviewing documents and providing feedback
-Possible field work to gather data and co-facilitation of trainings
-Qualifications and competencies:
Ideal candidates will have a combination of the following experience and qualifications:
-University education in administration, finance, economics or social sciences.
-Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
-Awareness of gender and social inclusion, Knowledge and practical experience in gender and economic development
-Excellent communication skills, written and spoken, in English (other languages an asset)
Ideal candidates will have the following competencies:
-Ability to stay organized and motivated working as part of a remote international team

-Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
-Use of project management tools
-Uphold the principles of trust, equality of opportunities, transparency and collaboration

-Positive attitude and optimism about the role of small and growing businesses in generating positive social impact
-A work plan will be developed within the first 3 days of every month, and agreed with Manager, and will focus on key deliverables. The associate will use project management systems (i.e., Zoho or other) to track progress each month on work plans and to report monthly progress.
The consultant will cover all costs incurred related to this role, such as computer, tablet, telephone and other regular office expenses. Previously agreed travel to carry out assignments, as well as any additional expenses agreed upon will be covered by Value for Women. The consultant is expected to contribute to any relevant taxes as per national law in their country of residence.
