This is a call for proposal for international mentors to provide technical assistance to an e-health project in an Indian Smart City as part of CITIIS technical assistance.

CITIIS is a joint program by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), French Development Agency (AFD), European Union (EU) and National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) to provide funding and technical assistance to 12 most innovative Smart City projects. The projects are spread across four thematic areas of Public Open Spaces, Sustainable Mobility, Urban e-Governance and ICT and Social and Organisational Innovation in Low-income Settlements.
The project selected under Urban e-Governance and ICT is an e-health project aimed at digitising health records across the public health system of the city with dual aim of early detection of outbreak of communicable diseases and reduction of the out of pocket expenditure on diagnostics at multiple levels of public health system.
About CITIIS International Mentorship
As part of the technical assistance being offered to cities, the program is looking forward to engage e-health and e-governance experts who have worked in similar projects, preferably at city level in a developing country. The role would involve guiding cities in design and implementation of project, through capacity building and incorporation of international best practices. The engagement would involve a mix of on-site and remote work, approx. 50 days in a year.
