This position is part of the Office of Equity and Investment Funds (OEIF) at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC). As an Investment Funds Specialist (Director), you will provide leadership in originating, monitoring, and exiting of investments for DFC’s investment fund program.

Manage investment and strategic activities per the policies and directives of OEIF with direction from the Managing Director (MD) and the Vice President.

Support the conceptual development and operational implementation of OIEF’s investment priorities.

Implement the OEIF investment fund program, including origination, evaluation, diligence, negotiation, commitment, disbursement, monitoring, and realization of private equity funds.

Maintain a working knowledge of OEIF and DFC policy and procedures and oversees consistent implementation and compliance, including in the areas of commercial judgment, ethics, compliance, and documentation procedures.

Act as a self-starter and own department-building initiatives. Mentor, train, and review deliverables from junior team members.
