Samawati Capital Partners (“SCP”) is an investment and impact advisory firm based in Nairobi and offering its services across the Sub-Saharan Africa region. We focus on enabling sustainable growth and development across the region focusing on what we believe are the “Big Five” sectors of growth in Africa, namely food and agribusiness, financial inclusion, renewable energy, health, and education (“focus sectors”).
We leverage on our core competencies in SME development, financial inclusion, and impact investment (“areas of competence”) to offer innovative, client-centered, and impact-driven solutions to companies, investors, non-profit and public institutions within the Big Five sectors through investment advisory, impact advisory and asset management.
SCP is currently developing various projects and initiatives across Sub-Saharan Africa and is hence seeking to develop a network of experienced external project associates to be engaged on a project-by-project basis in supporting new assignments in the food and agribusiness, financial inclusion, renewable energy, health, and education sectors:
We are looking for highly competent project associates that best match our focus sectors and areas of competence (as referenced above). We welcome candidates who have a minimum of 8 years’ experience and strong demonstrable expertise in at least two (2) of the areas listed below to apply.
Financial advisory, investment readiness and transaction advisory
SME development, research and consulting
Financial inclusion and investment policy development
Banking and financial products’ development
Gender, women and youth financing
Digital solutions for financial inclusion, technology-enabled business models, technology services for businesses, etc.
ESG, Monitoring and evaluation and impact measurement of projects within the Big Five sectors
Knowledge and networks within the public sector, investment, and development sectors
