Engineering for Change Editorial Fellowship supported by Autodesk Foundation
The E4C Editorial Fellowship supported by the Autodesk Foundation is a workforce development program bridging scientific writing with engineering for sustainable development. The program prepares journalists and science communicators worldwide to report on engineered solutions to local and global challenges that can achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Fellows receive a stipend dependent on the region where they are based, experience, and other factors. The E4C Editorial Fellowship supported by the Autodesk Foundation is in its inaugural year, launched in 2023 as a collaboration between the E4C Research Fellowship Program and the Autodesk Foundation. The Autodesk Foundation supports more than 50 startups and non-profits using Autodesk software to develop engineered solutions to challenges in sustainable development. To discover and promote that work, Autodesk Foundation seeks an E4C editorial fellow to tell the stories that turn around Autodesk design tools that are creating technologies that change lives. Scope of the role Interview E4C fellows, technical leads at portfolio organizations, and technical training partners to understand how Autodesk software has created an impact Interview select Autodesk Foundation and E4C alumni Pitch and write stories on software usage and impact Create social media copy to promote stories Report on key findings and insights describing the impact of Autodesk software The Fellow will meet regularly with the Head of Marketing and Communication for the Autodesk Foundation to share leads, and liaise with Autodesk Foundation Technical Specialists.
