The Financial Operations Analyst will be an integral part of World Tree’s Operations Department, helping to drive the financial aspects of large investor-driven agroforestry projects being built from the ground up. This collaborative, focused professional will support World Tree’s Project Development and Business Operations teams on their financial modeling capabilities and produce robust, investor-facing financial models.

We are looking for an individual with a willingness to learn and grow, who can effectively collaborate with our internal team to help us change the world through agroforestry. This position is fully remote with the potential to move to hybrid work in the future.

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Creating dynamic investment models for large-scale projects
• Collaborating with project development team on related activities
• In-depth and self-guided research on project-critical subjects
• Providing cross-functional support as necessary for team success

Required Skills/Abilities
• Passion for creating meaningful impact with an ability to learn emerging practices in agroforestry
• Proven ability to create highly accurate financial projections and investment models for analysis of various projects
• Ability to provide written explanations and narratives of financial models and analyses
• Rigorous attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently with sense of urgency in fast-paced environment
• Ability to independently gather and organize information necessary to complete financial models
• Adaptability to changing priorities with competing deadlines
• Ability to simultaneously handle multiple challenges, develop priorities, avoid distractions and maintain focus on project goals
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Comfort with and ability to effectively work remotely with occasional domestic and international travel

Education
• BS/BA in Finance or other relevant field (Masters preferred)
• 4+ years of development-oriented financial modeling experience

Preferred Experience/Skills/Abilities
• Additional experience in Forestry, Agriculture, and/or Agroforestry
• Database management and data analysis skills
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles

Pay Range: $62,000-$72,000
