You’re a sales growth hacker who loves taking artisans products to market, connecting them to the highest yield sales channels, and crushing down the cost of customer acquisition. Your favorite metric is someone’s monthly sales delta. You have an MBA (or equal experience) and deep knowledge in social entrepreneurship, building cash flow models, business incubators/accelerators and impact investing. You’re a compassionate, motivated and adaptable person who has passion for making business into something that does good. You excel at identifying channels for growth in a variety of industries, prospecting for clients, and getting that first bill of sale. You are interested in spending time in the Panamanian jungle helping to build commerce that thinks about profit, planet and people in Kalu Yala and beyond.
You feel comfortable being a consultant to 4-6 new entrepreneurs and helping them to form their business growth strategies and financial plans. You like working in team environments and teaching people how to use spreadsheets (and feel excited about it!) You want everyone to find their entrepreneurial side and help them maximize their ventures.
Your week will consist of one on one check ins with entrepreneurs to ensure that their financials are looking good and they are on track to growing their businesses. You will work alongside the Head of Incubator to create overall program structure, brainstorm opportunities to position the program greater in the entrepreneurial start up world, and you will help identify and coach students at Kalu Yala Institute who are thinking about their studies in an entrepreneurial way, and creating new ideas for commerce in Kalu Yala.
MBA with a focus on finance/business growth strategy
3-5 years experience working with startups
