LGT Venture Philanthropy (LGT VP) is an impact investor, supporting organizations with outstanding social and environmental impact. LGT VP is currently managing over 30 organizations. Through these engagements, LGT VP has invested more than USD 50m to improve the sustainable quality of life of over five million less advantaged people from around the world since inception in 2007. In 2014, LGT VP received the Sustainable Investment Award in the category «Best Social Impact Investor».
About the ICats Fellowship
LGT VP is looking to nominate an Investment Associate ICats Fellow to support its ongoing portfolio management activities in Brazil. The Fellow will work intensively with the regional investment team and local social entrepreneurs already in its portfolio to take the portfolio organizations to the next level of growth and impact. In addition, the Fellow will conduct local sector / impact analysis and contribute to identify eligible companies and organizations. S/he will work alongside the local Investment Manager and other team members in the region and in Switzerland. This role is well suited for professionals with a blend of investment, consulting and entrepreneurship experience who are looking to pivot to a career with a strong sense of social purpose.
Who can join?
We are looking for passionate professionals who want to use their skills in a meaningful way. Candidates are required to have a strong professional background (undergraduate degree, international exposure and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience) as well as outstanding personal skills. Investment Associate Fellows require strong finance and analytical skills and usually have a background in Business Consulting, Investment Management, Private Equity, Finance or M&A. Fluency in English and Portuguese are required for this position. Direct experience working in Brazil is a plus.
