Position Description


Ennovent’s Discover Services help clients find and select the best solutions addressing sustainability challenges in low-income markets in developing countries. Delivered through four channels (Ennovent Network, Pool, Circle or Solutions), the Discover Services offer our clients effective mechanisms to source the best solutions.


Discover Challenges are a Solutions-level service which enable clients to source the best, globally available solutions addressing a specific sustainability challenge. Ennovent’s Discover team designs, partners, crowd sources, selects and rewards the best enterprises related to a specific Challenge contract as per the client requirement.


The specific responsibilities related to the Junior Manager – Discover Services will include, but not be limited to:


·         Develop, execute and manage all aspects of clients contracts (e.g. Challenges, Concierge Search) to exceed client expectations and stated targets.

·         Cultivate high-yield relationships with key stakeholders (philanthropists, corporates, agencies, government, media etc) to ensure quality contract delivery.

·         Contribute to and lead key sales activities including sector mapping, collateral development, networking, proposal writing and negotiation.

·         Contribute to and lead the synthesis of findings into required client reports and other deliverables.

·         Manage contract execution teams (short-term Interns, Consultants, junior staff etc) to ensure targets are met on time and in high quality.

·         Gain and disseminate in-depth knowledge regarding Challenge Management, Impact Investing and Development Ecosystem.

·         Create and monitor budgets for specific client contracts. 

·         Support the creation of effective marketing and communications plans and activities to promote Discover Services.

·         Contribute to the achievement of KPIs at the individual, unit and company level.

·         Contribute to other execution aspects of the Discover Services, where required.

·         Contribute to the overall strategic development of the Discover Services vertical, including new service development.

·         Support internal innovation processes including executing experiments and incorporating learning.

·         Contribute to feedback loops to ensure a model of continuous improvement and value for both clients and Ennovent.

·         Contribute to the overall strategic and operational development of Ennovent, as required.

·         Manage Interns and other junior staff to ensure a mutually beneficial experience, where required.





The Junior Manager – Discover Services is a highly-motivated and project management professional with a proven track record of success overseeing and executing complex, multi-national and multi-stakeholder projects in India, and preferably globally.     


The Junior Manager – Discover Services should possess:


·         An advanced degree in marketing, business or related field; project management certification or concentration is preferred.

·         3 – 5 years of professional experience.

·         Successful track record with planning and management for projects of various sizes and lengths, exceeding client expectations.

·         Outstanding written communications abilities; experience developing proposals and reports is preferred. 

·         Experience developing and managing budgets and tracking expenses.

·         Experience with business development including client sourcing, presentations and sales processes is preferred.

·         Strong problem solving and synthesizing skills with an optimistic approach to overcoming challenges.

·         A commitment to focusing on details and project nuances to ensure client satisfaction.

·         A proven ability to deliver upon stated targets and other deliverables with ownership.

·         A proven ability to work with independence, ambiguity and flexibility to ensure targets and outcomes are reached. 

·         An ability to make inferences, decisions and judgements with minimal information.

·         An ability to communicate with polish, tact and diplomacy in English; both written and verbal

·         Exposure to global work environments through work, study or other experiences. 

·         Strong MS Office skills, with a focus on Excel and other database tools.

Ennovent offers a salary package in line with a structured compensation plan and commensurate with experience to all team members. This will be a full-time home-based role in India; the incumbent will be required to travel both in India and internationally from time to time.
