Summary
The Wikimedia Enterprise team is looking for passionate business builders who love to win, have strong business ethics, and communicate at the highest level. As the Enterprise team’s first Sales Development Representative, you’ll play an important role in driving revenue growth by developing a strong pipeline of prospective customers for the business and collecting feedback from prospective customers to further improve our products. If you’re interested in building a SaaS business from the ground up inside the largest organization of public knowledge in history, this role is for you. Remote position, no travel required. This is an hourly position and is not commission based. You are responsible for: Being the first Wikimedia Enterprise ambassador and set the standard for a great first impression to prospective customers An outreach mindset – you’re ready to cold call or email to build a list of prospects, as well as reach out to new users who are just trying out the product, helping everyone get the information they need to be successful …a new, revenue-generating product that provides fast, comprehensive, reliable, and secure data ingestion for organizations that wish to repurpose Wikimedia/Wikipedia content in third party environments. Wikimedia Enterprise aims to improve the user experience for Wikimedia/Wikipedia readers beyond our own websites; increase the reach and discoverability of Wikimedia/Wikipedia content; and improve awareness and ease of attribution and verifiability of Wikimedia/Wikipedia content by the organizations that reuse our content the most.
