This position is an integral part of Kiva’s Marketing & Communications team. The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will be responsible for growing engagement among our 1.7 million lenders and coming up with strategies and improvements that will increase lifetime value. This position will report directly to the Director of Strategic Marketing.

Responsibilities:

User retention and engagement – 60%:
Identify key touch points in lender lifecycle and develop strategies to deepen lenders’ connection and engagement with Kiva
Partner with product and marketing managers to improve onboarding experience for new users
Identify and research product improvements or programs to increase user lifetime value, measured by loan volume and donations
Partner with product and marketing managers to bring these improvements to life in email communications, website and other channels
Identify segments of the Kiva lender base that could benefit from customized lifecycle tracks
Collaborate with marketing team to find new ways to infuse content throughout the lender experience

Analytics – 20%:
Use data and analytics to inform lifecycle planning and changes
Dig into user research data and existing profiles of Kiva lender cohorts and identify trends in their engagement levels, as well as opportunities for growth
Partner with analytics team for deeper dives

Digital project management – 20%:
Own KPIs for active users and drive projects cross-functionally to achieve those goals

Preferred Skills & Experience:
2-4 years of experience in email marketing or digital marketing
Experience running A/B tests to drive improvements in product or email
Track record of metrics-driven success
Knowledge of basic HTML, knowledge of SQL a plus
Strong problem solver and excellent analytical skills
Proficient in Excel, experience using Google Analytics and/or Looker a plus
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally
Self-motivated
Someone with a \”ready to help\” attitude; Friendly, optimistic, energetic and passionate
Strong commitment to ethics, honesty, and integrity in conducting business
