Your Role & Tasks

Are you ready to lead the charge in creating innovative financing solutions and forging meaningful relationships to drive systemic change? As our Fundraising and Investor Relations Manager, you will be at the forefront of YSB’s fundraising and investor engagement efforts. This role combines strategy, creativity, and relationship management to build impactful partnerships, co-design tailored solutions, and position YSB as a leader in the impact investment ecosystem. You’ll play a pivotal role in creating value for our investors, shaping financing structur that deliver on impact, and representing YSB on global stages. What You’ll Do

1.⁠ ⁠Be a Strategic Fundraiser:
  • Proactively identify and engage potential investors and donors across North America and Europe.
  • Develop and execute targeted fundraising strategies, leveraging your knowledge of market trends to tailor approaches to specific stakeholders.
  • Lead the preparation of compelling investment proposals, pitch decks, and fundraising materials that communicate YSB’s mission and impact.
2.⁠ ⁠Build and Own Relationships
  • Take ownership of investor and funder relationships, acting as the primary account owner for key stakeholders.
  • Establish new partnerships by proactively identifying and engaging potential funders across North America, Europe, and beyond.
  • Cultivate trust-based, long-term relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
3.⁠ ⁠Collaborate with Investment Teams:
  • Liaise with YSB’s investment and IMM teams to ensure alignment with funder/investor mandates and deliver on commitments seamlessly.
  • Provide critical input on structuring financing facilities and contribute to YSB’s broader product development initiatives
4.⁠ ⁠Drive Impact through Innovative Solutions:
  • Collaborate with investors to design and create innovative financing solutions, ensuring alignment with their goals and YSB’s mission.
  • Develop blended and catalytic financing structures, incorporating technical assistance provisions to enhance the impact and scalability of investments.
  • Co-design bespoke investment solutions with funders and investors, leveraging your ability to balance impact, risk, and return.
5.⁠ ⁠Represent YSB on Global Stages:
  • Represent YSB at industry events, conferences, and meetings, serving as an ambassador for our mission and showcasing our innovative solutions.
  • Articulate YSB’s impact story and funding needs to diverse audiences, positioning us as a preferred partner for impact-driven investments.

What you bring to the table

1.⁠ ⁠Your Background:
  • You’ve got a degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, or a similar field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in partnerships and business development, fundraising, investor relations, or financial structuring, preferably within impact investing venture capital, and/or development finance.
2.⁠ ⁠Your Skills:
  • You’re adept at project management and strategy building.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders, from institutional investors to foundations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to craft effective fundraising strategies and execute them successfully.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), project management tools (e.g., Asana), and data analysis platforms
