Key Responsibilities/Outcomes (include but are not limited to):

  • Cultivate, manage and grow relationships with priority corporate partners whom have an annual revenue of at least $500,000 and/or potential to grow to least $500,000 per year
  • Develop and implement detailed account plans for each partnership in portfolio
  • Assist Deputy Director with management of priority corporate partners
  • Develop and execute plan(s) which maximize partnerships throughout the U.S. and international activities including: philanthropic/foundation grants, contributions-in-kind, cause marketing, sponsorship, customer fundraising, employee engagement, and/or shared value activities, while also delivering on the partners’ business and philanthropy goals
  • Liaise with Corporate Business Development team to identify and create a pipeline of new Integrated Corporate Partnership opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to systematically expand partnerships into new areas for collaboration
  • Support development and implementation of a growth strategy to expand the portfolio of integrated partnerships, with a focus on pharmaceutical and logistics sectors
  • Lead development of proposals and negotiation of financial terms / contracts to secure continued and/or new commitments from partners
  • Lead presentations and meetings with internal and external stakeholders and partners
  • Liaise with other USF departments and UNICEF staff to ensure successful implementation of integrated partnerships strategy
  • Serve as organization’s focal point on issues related to in-kind donations of products, services and expertise

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 – 7 years ’experience in developing and managing complex partnerships between the corporate and non-profit sectors
  • Direct experience mobilizing corporate support in the form of products, services and expertise
  • Significant knowledge of international development issues including: market dynamics related to the use of in-kind donations preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement a business plan including goals, strategy and tactics
  • Familiarity with current global health and development issues and UN agencies preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, analytical skills and written/verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize; work independently; handle multiple, complex tasks simultaneously and generate pragmatic solutions to real or potential problems as well as recognizing and leveraging key opportunities
  • Ability to navigate complex environments and build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities and styles
  • Demonstrated aptitude to work well within a team setting
  • Ability to travel to domestic and international developing country locations
