The WorldGrad works with Australian, American and UK universities and colleges to develop and deliver a part of their degrees online. Students can complete up to 1 year of their overseas degree online and transition on-campus to complete the rest. This allows students to save up to INR 20L in costs as well as be better prepared for success overseas.

Currently The WorldGrad’s online programs lead students to over 100+ qualifications across 3 continents. The WorldGrad has been identified as among the top Study Abroad platforms by India Today, and its programs have generated a lot of interest amongst students in India leading to thousands of enquiry over the past few months. About the role | Director – Marketing and Demand Generation
The WorldGrad is seeking a talented marketing professionals to set-up and grow their student acquisition capabilities. This is a unique role, responsible for driving student acquisition and growth for the online programs targeting Indian students. This will be an exciting opportunity for a keen professional to establish student recruitment capabilities for the company by building a team, processes and assets from near ground zero. The Director – Marketing and Demand Generation will report directly to the founders.

As an important part of a growing start-up, a potential hire will get the opportunity to learn, develop and expand professional skills alongside an experienced leadership team. At the same time, The WorldGrad team values collegial, small-team environment which offers a balance of flexibility, ownership and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
Developing the marketing strategy for online feeder programs in conjunction with the founders.
Setting up and growing the recruitment channels outlined in the strategy through a combination of in-house resources and partnerships. This would include digital demand generation, school outreach and partner support.
Recruiting managers and build a team under them to execute marketing strategy spanning all recruitment channels.
Guiding digital marketing and creative agencies / partners / resources to implement lead generation and branding strategies.
Being responsible for program revenue related targets.

Does this sound like you?
Critical requirements for the role (Must-Haves)
MBA/equivalent Master’s from leading institutions in India.
10-15 years of professional experience with current focus on marketing and customer acquisition. Education sector experience will be strongly preferred.
Developed and or implemented an effective lead generation process using digital channels.
Knowledge of direct marketing activities (e.g. partner events, school outreach).
Experience in delivering a good communication strategy for marketing campaigns.

Preferred requirements (Nice to Haves)
