Mata Traders is a fair trade fashion company based in Chicago, IL. We produce two clothing collections and five jewelry collections a year, which are sold in over 600 shops and boutiques around the country and internationally. Our designs mix old-fashioned processes–such as hand loom weaving and hand block printing–with fashion-forward silhouettes and contemporary color palettes. Mata’s mission is to bring fair trade to the forefront of the fashion industry–and in turn, empower women to end global poverty.
