Ambassador placements are made to fit the unique skills and interests of qualified candidates, as well as the needs of the organization. Working closely with the MIX team on various developing markets, candidates will help develop and promote MIX’s work through regular blogs/articles that promote stakeholder interest. Furthermore, candidates will assist in research and locating prospective stakeholders in emerging financial inclusion areas such as Agri-finance, Energy finance, Fintech, etc. Other assignments will include but not be limited to (visualization) dashboard analysis, market analysis and summary writing and insight development, arranging and attending meetings with stakeholders.
This program is a voluntary opportunity for working professionals who want to take a break and do research in financial inclusion areas such as Microfinance, Agri-finance, Energy finance and/or Fintech or students who want to build career in this field and hence, interested to learn more. The program is based out of Hyderabad, India.
Identifying stakeholders in developing markets and emerging sectors mentioned
Build core knowledge in the emerging sectors through research from publicly available online sources
Summarizing and documenting the research findings
Scouring industry, development, and news sites, to find current market developments that may be of interest to stakeholders
Relating these developments to MIX’s efforts and piquing stakeholder interest in MIX’s various tools and services
Proficiency in the English Language is a must
Interest in research especially for emerging sectors and developing economies
Capacity to write concise, yet effective write-ups that develop stakeholder interest
Ability to cover all travel and living expenses through the course of the program (this is an unpaid position)
Ability to work independently
