Trilogy is the first of its kind to bring the successful web development boot camp model in house to higher education academic institutions while supporting the entire student academic journey. Our platform combines coding curriculum, student recruitment, and career placement services to elevate graduates with hard skills that will make them competitive candidates for the fastest growing job markets. Our partners include top universities such as Rutgers, UT Austin, and UCLA.

We’re seeking an exceptionally dynamic and personable individual to take on the key leadership role of Career Director. You’ll hit the ground running to quickly help us grow, nurture, and support our students in their career journey.  You will analyze our current practices and will lead strategic steps to enhance them. Creative problem solving, a vision of high level strategy, and a willingness to find answers will allow you to succeed in this role.

Career Directors build our employer network, keep employers highly engaged in the program; and then match students to employers for hiring purposes. Career Directors will teach our Career Curriculum as well as act as a coach and mentor to students, helping them shape their social media profiles (GitHub, LinkedIn, etc) and resumes to ensure placement. Career Directors will work on interview skills, hold weekly 1-on-1s, provide tools for tracking jobs, and will ensure students feel 100% confident and supported as they impart on their career journey.

We are looking for someone to join our team in either New York City or Los Angeles. Each city we operate in only has one Career Director, so you\’ll have full ownership and autonomy over the success of your region.


•       Curating a network of employers invested in our program’s growth and success.
•       Engaging with our employer network to increase the likelihood they will hire our students.
•       Coaching our students and delivering a curriculum around “how to get a job in the tech space.”
•       Supporting and mentoring students who are going through the interview process.
•       Attending networking events to increase Trilogy’s visibility in the community.
•       Working with students to prepare and create high-quality job search tools, including resumes, LinkedIn profiles, elevator pitches, and interviewing skills.
•       Providing students with ongoing individual career counseling and employment preparation coaching; connecting students with resources to overcome individual barriers to maintaining success in training.

Professional Experience. 5+ years of increasing responsibility, ideally in the startup or tech sectors.

Technical Street Cred. Our Career Directors are often prior technical recruiters. They have the credibility and understanding of what is needed to both “obtain” and “succeed” in a technical role.
