The Operations Associate ensures that Gradian’s customers are supported to exacting, world-class levels. You will be the first point of contact and first impression for a customer-focused organization. Working across the company, this role does what it takes to make sure products arrive, providers are trained and our installed base is working properly. This position is based in New York and will report to the Logistics & Operations Manager.
-Conduct regular outreach to customers
-Manage training, preventive maintenance and service visit schedule
-Manage service cases from initial reporting through to closure
-Feed data back to Gradian’s business development and service functions to inform strategy and activity on the ground
-Support Gradian’s logistics team with shipments and travel
-Entrepreneurially minded self-starter who thrives in the unstructured start-up environment
-Meticulous attention to detail
-Experience with Salesforce a plus
-French competency is a major asset
-Professional experience in a developing country preferred
-Passionate about quality health care delivery in the developing world
-Strong people skills with a good sense of humor
-Ability to prioritize
-Bachelor degree or higher
-3+ years’ work experience
-Unrestricted ability to work in the US
-Ability to manage many projects at once
Gradian Health Systems is a nonprofit medical technology company based in New York. We equip hospitals in resource-limited settings to deliver safe surgical and critical care through appropriate technology, in-country customer service and on-site product training. Working with local distributors, clinicians, governments and NGOs, our service and training networks span hundreds of health facilities across nearly two-dozen countries.
Gradian’s core product is an anesthesia machine designed to work with or without electricity and medical oxygen. In late 2017, we are planning to roll out our second product focused on critical and intensive care.
