The Position:
Jibu is looking for a part-time grant writer to support with vetting and writing high quality grant proposals. We expect there to be 5-20 applications per year (identified by the Jibu team), requiring between 5-25 hours per application, depending on the proposal. The work will involve close coordination with Jibu teams, primarily based in East Africa, to collect data for proposals.

Required Qualifications/Experience:
• Demonstrated ability to write successful grant proposals
• Superb writing skills
• Ability to translate data and research into compelling stories
• Research skills (e.g. on the water or entrepreneurship sectors)
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Detail-oriented, organized, deadline-driven
• Self-directed and strong communicator
• Fluency in English

Compensation: $25 per hour, work on a need basis
