Partnerships with private sector are crucial to the success of markeGOAL is seeking a highly motivated individual who is seeking a challenge at the intersection of business and development.t-based programming. GOAL partners with corporates and local private sector in order to improve its programme efficiency by creating output markets, improving access to inputs and drive technological innovation for the bottom of the pyramid. Key industry sectors are agribusiness, consumer goods, technology and pharma.

Manage/co-ordinate ongoing relationships with private sector organisations at global level.
Explore new opportunities for engagement with private sector organisations at a global level in line with GOAL priorities and principles. Drive these relationships to maximise impact on GOAL programming.
Working with senior management, ensure that there is due diligence work undertaken to assess partners and potential partners.
Present private sector engagement opportunities to field offices based on country-level programmatic priorities.
Liaise with field offices and explore potential for expansion of country level relationships to regional/global level.
Support and assist with monitoring and evaluation of shared value and inclusive business activities.
Contribute to the development of the shared value and inclusive business community of practice in Ireland. Representation (as required) at conferences and networking events.
Master’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Business, Marketing, International Relations) or MBA
5+ year’s private sector experience in relevant discipline, ideally including work on issues related to the intersection of business and international development.
Demonstrated ability to engage at senior levels in business and development sector contexts, and to build trust-based relationships with senior-level executives
Entrepreneurial mind set and ability to drive organizational change
