Entwine has grown exponentially with a rising brand in the Jewish young adult space and network of some 20,000+ young Jews connected to its platform of service, education, and leadership opportunities to become involved with global Jewish responsibility. At a critical juncture in having outgrown a “start up’ phase, JDC Entwine is seeking a Program Specialist to manage data and analysis for Entwine. This position is a new role to support — for the first time — robust and extensive data capture and analytics for an eight year old program with exceptional national and international alumni at a key moment for the organization. Made possible through a major investment in Entwine’s evaluative capacity, this position will play a key role in understanding Entwine’s impact to date and future directions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Reporting, Analysis & Evaluation Support
•Design, improve, and generate reports and presentations for the Executive team and Program Directors to provide core statistics and insight.
•Perform analyses of alumni data, by request from leadership, and recommend next steps and additional analyses.
•Coordinate with external evaluation team to establish metrics to track the ongoing involvement of Entwine alumni in Jewish life.
•Implement ongoing tracking of metrics as defined by external evaluation team.
•Propose and prioritize changes to reporting and create additional metrics and processes based on program changes and requirements.

Data Collection and Management
•Understand data currently collected and stored, and identify additional data for collection.
•Manage implementation and ongoing maintenance of cloud-based, CRM-enhanced database to capture the involvement of 20,000+ Jewish young adults.
•Train new and existing staff on CRM roles and functionalities, and work closely with Entwine team to ensure all data is documented systematically and reliably.
•Collaborate with Entwine program staff and IT staff to upgrade data collection and management process.
•Quality check, clean, and merge data in preparation for reporting and analyses. Become an organizational resource with strong knowledge of applicants and participants.
•Help support the development of analytical ability within other Home Office and regionally-based teams through the creation and delivery of training and tools.
Strategy & Communications

•Support management in addressing strategic questions and informing decision making by designing, implementing, and presentation of data-driven analyses.
•Recommend, develop, and deliver insights that will shape Entwine program strategy.
•Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting, working in collaboration with colleagues to identify and present high-level analytics to JDC and external stakeholders.

EXPECTED QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES
•2+ years professional experience in a position with similar responsibilities
•At least a B.A. degree in business administration, customer service, marketing, management, statistics or related fields. Master’s degree preferred.
•Experience with Salesforce or other relational databases
•Mastery of Excel
•Experience working with SPSS or another statistical package a plus
•A clear passion for learning new business analysis techniques
•Ability to work effectively with IT to mine data sources efficiently and accurately
•Proven analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop cases, and complete analyses
•Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects, while delivering timely and accurate results
•Proven capacity to work independently and in team environment
•Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to explain complex insights with clarity and precision
•Familiarity with Jewish organizations a plus
