Our work is about challenging the status quo by re-defining play and re-imagining learning. We believe that sustainable change happens when you transform attitudes and behaviour across society. To re-imagine learning, we want to work with parents, carers, school systems, institutions and governments to achieve strong, sustained impact on children today and influence the learning sector tomorrow.

We partner with organisations promoting play and high-qualty early childhood education. Our Re-imagine Learning Pogramme identifies and supports approaches to learning through play around the world. Specifically, we seek out innovative and powerful approaches that can be scaled, translated or amplified to promote the transformative power of learning through play on a global scale and improve learning for milions of children all over the world.

Programme Director

Location: Baar, Switzerland (close to Zurich)

Salary: Competitive

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Director to join our entrepreneurial and ambtious team, and lead our Re-imagine Learning programme.

Reporting to the Global Head Programmes, you will strategically manage an existing portfolio of partnerships and develop a global pipeline of investment opportunities that are consistent with our goal of empowering children to become creative and engaged lifelong learners. Your knowledge and experience of building successful partnerships combined with your analytical abilities will enable you to present high quality investment recommendations to the Foundation's leadership team and Board.

With highly developed relationship buildng, influencing and commication skills, you will build and develop a strong team, poviding inspirational leadership and support. With your global outlook and deep understanding of country level or regional implementation, your leadership and management track record will have been gained in a grant making foundation, NGO, or the social entrepreneurship innovation space.

Experience of education programming, preferably including early childhood development, is highly desirable but not essential. Field experience in Latin America, Africa or Asia is a plus, together with a proficiency in other languages such as Spanish or Portuguese.

Above all, you are passionate about improving children's lives, and building stronger communities by ensuring the fundamental value of play is understood, embraced, and acted upon.

Baar is located approximately 20 minutes from Zurich, in canton Zug. Please note that this position will require international travel.
