Key Responsibilities/Outcomes:

  • Assist the Deputy Director of Recruitment in full-life-cycle recruitment of USF staff and fellowship positions: source and prescreen candidates; schedule interviews; review resumes; assess applications; check references; prepare offer and non-select letters; and coordinate the onboarding process
  • Manage the USF Intern/Work Study Program: communicate program requirements and processes; identify intern needs and assignments; prescreen applications; respond to applicant inquiries; facilitate intern selection; liaise with Facilities and IT staffs about space and equipment allocation; coordinate a smooth onboarding process; host orientation and closing programs; and track all intern information
  • Manage temporary staff recruitment: select and liaise with temporary staffing agencies; screen candidates; coordinate placements and onboarding; process invoices; and maintain accurate records
  • Maintain Taleo and career website: create and generate accurate recruitment reports as needed; manage full scope of key metrics and reports to improve recruiting efficiency; proactively troubleshoot system issues, and help identify continuous improvement efforts

In addition, this associate will …

  • Respond to both internal and external inquiries about the employment recruitment process
  • Training and professional development coordination support for internship and fellowship program
  • Coordinate internal and external job postings
  • Process background checks as necessary
  • Process candidate reimbursements as needed
  • Process, track, and ensure timely payment of vendor invoices
  • Handle other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years related experience in human resources
  • Must demonstrate strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Must be able to demonstrate initiative, judgment, diplomacy, and respect for confidentiality
  • Must have solid project management experience with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team member
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a broad range of departments, as well as manage expectations and deadlines
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must have superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have strong computer and administrative skills, including at least one year of Taleo experience
  • Must demonstrate and be dedicated to USF’s Core Values—Trust, Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Teamwork, and Service

Must possess current and valid US Work Authorization and be eligible to work for any US employer without sponsorship.
